Hacking human nature

Continuing my recent theme of change management I want to share an interesting thought for the day originating from a great podcast by neuroscientist Dr. Robert Copper about the power of small changes.

The brain thwarts progress with old habits and imaginary evils and is maddingly prone to waiting for the big miracle or easy solution that never comes never realizing that one small change, then another could have won it all.

The brain loves big, complicated, later and never.  Exceptional leaders and teams choose the exact opposite: breakthroughs and rules that are small, simple, now and next.

Take a listen and get inspired with advice how to change the brain and “hack human nature.”
